The King Is In The Field
I
had never heard The King is in the
Field I was
amazed that
it was so easy to talk to God.... to walk across a field with him,
...to be so close to him, this was so awesome to be so close to someone
that loves me so much that he would die on the cross for me. God is indeed always present; but God is also beyond our
reach,
because our physical bodies and material lifestyles distance us from
Godly experiences. It is easy for Him to see us from on high,
but it is
difficult for us to approach that stage. If we want to experience
Godliness we need to undertake numerous strenuous tasks in order to
access spirituality.
In Elul, however, God
makes Himself
accessible for all. It is as if He is walking amongst the
crowd. It
doesn’t matter if you "paid for a ticket" or "waited online". Even if
your track record of behavior has not been up to par, even if your
actions do not make you deserving of an audience with God, he grants
it to you anyway.

There is one catch:
although spirituality and
Godliness is more attainable and tangible in this month, you still need
to approach it. So take advantage of this opportunity. Speak to God
with an open heart during this month, take an extra moment to connect
with Him through His commandments; there are no security guards to
check your spiritual ID, and there are no ushers to examine your ticket
of good deeds; all ordinary procedures are set aside.
And that's what makes this
month extraordinary.
Hardness
Of Heart
The Hardness of
Heart deals with the crisis, the cause and the cure for a
hardened heart. A hard heart is simply a heart that is more sensitive
to other things than to God. It is caused by what we focus our
attention on, and it dictates the level of unbelief in our lives.
The dictionary defines
hardened as cold, insensitive, unfeeling, and unyielding.pitiless;
unfeeling, firmly established or

We must learn to soften the heart.

Patience & Forgiveness
"Wait on the
Lord: be of good courage, and he shall
strengthen thine heart." - Psalm 27:14
The greatest power in the
world has the power literally to shake the top of a mountain, carve it,
and crumble it to bits.
And the power that
can churn a granite mountain into dust also has the power to come into
a human heart, heal a wound, and change a soul. It is a power that you
can tap, and it can make your dreams come true and change your
destiny.
